==Descripción==
MIDP 1.0 es la versión inicial de [[MIDP (Español)|MIDP]] que contiene las características de interfaz de usuario para trabajar en [[Java ME (Español)|Java ME]]. Trabaja sobre [[CLDC (Español)|CLDC]] 1.0 or 1.1.

Para superar las limitaciones de MIDP 1.0 muchos de los fabricantes han incluido algunas librerías propietarias, como la Nokia UI API.

Cada Nokia [[Series 40 (Español)|Series 40]], [[S60 (Español)|S60]] and [[Series 80 (Español)|Series 80]] soporta este perfil.

==Limitaciones==
* MIDP 1.0 no tiene soporte de acceso directo a píxeles de las imágenes (RGB data)
* MIDP 1.0 no tiene soporte para trabajo a pantalla completa.
* MIDP 1.0 no tiene soporte directo de audio sin una API adicional, como la [[Nokia UI API (Español)|Nokia UI API]] o [[MMAPI (Español)|MMAPI]].
* MIDP 1.0 solo soporta HTTP para conexión con el exterior.
* MIDP 1.0 no puede consultar el estado de las teclas en cualquier momento (igualmente es posible capturarlas)
