Developed for Series 40, this full-touch application introduces users to the fascinating world of Red Bull. Users can enjoy an infinite loop of behind-the-scene news, updates and content featuring sports and culture events, festivals, music highlights and background stories from Red Bull athletes.

Visuals

• The user interface is bright, high contrast, and well aligned with the Red Bull brand.
• Icons are designed in accordance with Series 40 icon guidelines.
• Lightweight photography and video are presented throughout the application to enhance articles and bring the events to life.

Interaction

• Users can navigate between the application's three primary sections using the category bar. Additional choices are displayed in the category popup, which can be accessed by clicking an ellipsis icon located on the category bar.
• News items and other content are presented in a scrollable grid or vertical list. Tapping each item reveals the detailed content for that topic.
• Users can also navigate between sections by tapping a series of tiles located on many of the detail pages. These enable users to quickly jump from a given sport or athlete to related articles in another section.
• Backstepping is intuitive using the back button positioned at the bottom right of each view.

Overall

• An embedded Nokia map enables users to browse videos and news by location.
• Users can save their favourite content by tapping a function in the options list.
