MunchPunch

logo Application

Jun 2010

The MunchPunch service enables users to search for, browse and order food from thousands of restaurants within the Philippine archipelago.

Visuals

  • The visual design is colourful, high contrast, yet does not overpower the content.
  • Fonts are easy to read and the variations in colour and weight assist in defining headers and content groupings.
  • Branding is carefully implemented using simple graphics and background colours. Doing so keeps page weight to a minimum, and enables the display of large quantities of data.

Interaction

  • Easily discoverable pagination is provided to reduce page weight.
  • Many sections feature bespoke layouts, reminiscent of the desktop service, and designed to best present the visuals and information at hand.
  • Persistent back and home buttons provide quick access to the restaurant list and search view.

Overall

  • The MunchPunch application is seamlessly integrated with common behaviours from the desktop site.
  • Advertising is well integrated and does not intrude on the content.
  • Users are prompted to enhance the service by providing reviews, and contributing or clarifying information about each venue.
Nokia Developer aims to help you create apps and publish them so you can connect with users around the world.
