Developed using Qt, this simple yet versatile application enables users to easily keep track of their connections, send and receive messages, or reconnect with people within their extended network.

Visuals

  • Forms are clearly laid out using an easy to read, high-contrast font, and large well-designed dialogues and controls.
  • Input controls have been well aligned with their respective task, and are ideally sized for touch manipulation.

Interaction

  • Primary navigation consists of a home screen menu. Persistent controls at the top of each view enable users to quickly search or send a message.
  • Certain views also include contextual menus enabling common action such as replying to or deleting a message.
  • A back button enables navigation to the previous view. Tapping the logo also navigates home.
  • Short, subtle animations are used to indicate changes in state such as enabling a setting or progressively loading content.
  • Simple transitions are also incorporated to enhance the navigation.

Overall

  • Predictive search quickly displays matching results.
  • Symbian guidelines are respected through use of a correctly shaped application icon.
