Developed for Windows Phone, this application enables users to search for and browse over 14,0000 hotels in 200 countries. Users can search for hotels by city, or browse a list of what's nearby using their location.

Visuals

• The user interface is bright, high contrast, and well aligned with the Hotels.com brand.
• The application uses the native Segoe font, ensuring a clean, light, and open look.
• Buttons, dialogues and iconography use the default Metro UI look.

Interaction

• Users can navigate between the app's four primary panels using a swipe gesture.
• Users can search for a hotel, or view a pre-populated list of tonight's deals based on the location of their last search.
• The search results panels contain a series of scrollable vertical lists including hotel name, user rating, and a photo. The hotel list can also be filtered by cost or rating using icons on the application bar. There is also an option to view results as points on an embedded Bing map.
• Details of each hotel are displayed using a series of panels that include hotel description, room rate options, and a photo gallery.
• Users can navigate back from all views using the dedicated hardware key.

Overall

• Search results are augmented using a dynamic, predictive text interface.
• Users can log in to the application to view existing reservations. These reservations can also be saved to the app for offline viewing.
