Our tools provide support for device-less development and testing, however we do recommend that you test your final solution
using a real device.
Starting with Qt SDK v.1.1.3 developers can use the simulator provided with the SDK to simulate NFC tag use cases. The NDEF Editor provides a simple way to edit the information stored on the tag that can then be tested with an application running in the simulator environment.
NFC Device Kit
For development and testing we provide a dedicated NFC device Kit that includes an NFC enabled mobile phone and sample NFC tags.
The Kit is available to Nokia Developer Launchpad or PRO members. If you are not a member of Launchpad or PRO, you can find details on how to join Launchpad here.
