Nokia Web Tools
Nokia Web Tools 1.5 provide you with a development toolkit that makes it easy to take a Series 40 web app from concept to code to Nokia Store submission. The key features of the toolkit are:
- Web Developer Environment — built on the Eclipse platform, this environment provides the tools to edit, package, and deploy web apps. Also included is Web Developer Channel, a one-stop shop for web apps information and additional tools.
- Web App Simulator — to simplify testing, the simulator enables web apps to be run on a computer. Features for location simulation and the ability to debug using an integrated implementation of Web Inspector, makes the simulator a powerful testing environment.
If you want to create web apps for Symbian WRT, please download Nokia Web Tools 1.2.
Series 40 web app Bluetooth Launcher
Bluetooth Launcher enables you to use the Web Developer Environment's feature to deploy web apps to your Series 40 phone over a Bluetooth connection. Once downloaded, you install Bluetooth Launcher onto your phone over a USB or Bluetooth connection or via a memory card (installation using Nokia Suite isn't supported).
You can install Bluetooth Launcher on your Series 40 phone by browsing to nokia.ly/btlauncher. When updating Bluetooth Launcher it's recommended that the old version is removed first.
