Which tools should I use?
Symbian WRT widgets are created using typical web assets, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code files. While you can code these widgets with your favourite web app code editor and package them with a zip tool, Nokia Web Tools provides a powerful and optimised set of enablers for coding, testing, and deploying Symbian WRT widgets.
Nokia Web Tools includes Web App Simulator, which enables you to test widgets on a computer. However, you should always test your widget on a device that supports Symbian WRT widgets or use the Nokia remote device access service to access a device over the internet.
Download and install Nokia Web Tools for Microsoft Windows, Apple OS X, or Ubuntu Linux
