Device Description

Nokia 6681 is a stylish smart phone with powerful feature set for rich multimedia experience. In addition to MMS, e-mail, instant messaging (IM), and Bluetooth, the device features Word and PowerPoint viewers and hot-swappable RS-MMC. The Nokia 6681 phone is suited to both business and mobile lifestyle applications.

Carbide.ui is a family of tools that enables the creation of themes for Symbian and Series 40 phones. Carbide.ui provides professionals and hobbyists alike with an easy to use tool that can customise almost every aspect of the look and feel of a phone's UI.

Recommended SDK(s)

S60 Platform SDK for Symbian OS, for Java™ MIDP allows developers to quickly and efficiently run and test Java applications for devices built on the S60 platform. Using a Java™ IDE, development with the SDK is hosted on a PC.

Series 60 Content Authoring SDK 2.0 supports MMS reception as well as color WAP and XHTML browser usage. Developers can use this tool, which is designed to run as either a stand-alone orintegrated application, to preview local files and Internet files. This version of the SDK works with both Nokia Mobile Internet Toolkit 4.0 or later and Nokia Developer's Suite for MMS 1.1.
