Forum Nokia Qt for Mobile Developers Training

To make this training efficient from the start, kindly make your development environment ready before you attend the training. This includes installing SDK's and getting yourself familiar with the pre-study material.

Pre-requisites:

You need to have C++ programming experience in order to participate this training.
Bring your laptop to the training and have your development environment ready on it.

1) Install Qt SDK for Windows

Qt SDK, install the Qt 4.5 all-in one LGPL SDK with QtCreator (175MB, for Windows) if you are unsure which edition you need.

2) Install Qt for S60 technology preview for Symbian and other needed tools

Find instructions on how to get started with Qt for S60 technology preview, Mobile Extensions and which S60 SDK's are needed to install or update your development environment here.

Qt for S60 Developer's library is available here / Getting Started includes an Installation Guide. Follow the guide carefully.
Install S60 SDK (S60 5th Edition recommended) here.
Install Carbide.c++ 2.0 here. Note, remember update to 2.0.2 from help menu.
Install Qt for S60 SDK (Tower) here.
Configure Carbide for Qt here.
Download Qt for S60 Mobile Extensions here.
