34-yo aspiring software craftsman and an alpha geek working as a Software Architect / Senior Consultant for Futurice Oy and Codemancers Oy. Main work description is leading different mobile software projects and showing Futurice face in the software community. I have 12 years of professional software development experience in various areas. I am interested in and work with all the relevant mobile smartphone platforms and write software for them. I am a Nokia Developer Champion, Qt Ambassador, Nokia Qt Certified Specialist, Nokia Qt Certified Developer, ISEB ISTQB Foundation level certified tester, Certified Scrum Master, Certified Scrum Product Owner. Main focus currently: Windows Phone 7 (and Windows 8) and Qt/QML on mobile and desktop platforms. I like organizing events and promoting co-operation. I have been involved in organizing events like Tampere MeeGo Summit, Tampere Qt meetups and Devaamo Summit 2012. I am a member of the board of Devaamo Ry. In my spare time I mentor foreign students in Finnish working life in a program called Workplace Pirkanmaa. Oh and I am running for Tampere city council in the upcoming municipal elections in October 2012. Go out and vote!
