Nokia Lumia Developer's Library

This library is intended for developers creating applications for Nokia Lumia devices. The library provides detailed guides on the use of Map, Camera, NFC, and Nokia Music APIs with code snippets and references to the complete example applications. It also explains how to co-develop for Windows Phone 7 and 8, and provides an overview and guides on Nokia Developer services, such as Remote Device Access for Nokia Lumia. The latest library update includes documentation for Windows 8 compatible Nokia Music API and the new methods added to the API, a guide on how to adapt to Lumia phones’ hardware features together with a test application, an updated NFC Talk example which provides a search for nearby devices via Bluetooth as well, and a Windows Phone 8 port of an XNA example DrumkitX, implemented using Direct3D and XAudio2. Nokia In-App Payment: Developer's Preview

This document provides a preview of Nokia In-App Payment. The document provides an overview to the components of Nokia In-App Payment and process flow of a typical payment, before offering a detailed step-by-step guide to implementation and testing, including full code snippets. The document concludes with a list of ids that can be used for testing purposes. Nokia In-App Payment is currently in an invitation only beta program.

LWUIT Developer's Library

This library is a complete documentation package for developers and designers to help them create applications with appealing graphical user interface using the LWUIT for Nokia Asha and Series 40. Library has been updated to include Nokia Asha UI components, for example, RefreshLoadBar, DatePicker, and HeaderBar. Also support for automatic localization has been added.

Nokia Asha Design Guidelines

This library gathers guidelines for designing Java MIDlets for Nokia Asha software platform phones. It contains a UI overview, descriptions for UI components (both LCDUI and LWUIT components) and common UI patterns along with guidelines for language and tone of voice. There is also an Icon creation section to help you create your app’s launcher icon. The UX checklist collects the most important UI considerations you should keep in mind when designing your app for Nokia Asha phones.

This library provides all the information you need to create rich and engaging web apps for the Nokia Asha software platform 1.0 and Series 40 phones. The library includes a getting started guide, technical and design documentation, and a detailed guide on how to use the web app tools. The library has been updated for version 3.0 of the Nokia Asha web app tools.

Java Developer's Library

The Java Developer’s Library supports devices up to Java Runtime for Nokia Asha software platform (1.0) for Nokia Asha platform devices and Java Runtime 2.0.0 for Series 40 devices. The library provides detailed information about the new APIs in the Nokia Asha software platform, and about implementation differences between Nokia Asha and Series 40 platforms. There’s also information about porting Series 40 full touch applications to the Nokia Asha software platform. See the change history for more information.

Previous version of Java Developer's Library with Symbian (and Series 40) platform content is available as offline version in Standalone and Eclipse Plug-in formats.

Nokia Publisher Guide

Publisher Guide describes how to submit, edit, update, and remove Nokia Store content with the Nokia Publish tool. The guide also describes how you can enter metadata that will pass our Quality Assurance checks, as well as monitor daily reports on downloads and estimated revenue. Java Developer's Library for Symbian (Standalone)

The Java Developer's Library describes the Java ME development environment for mobile devices up to Java Runtime 2.0.0 for Series 40 and Java Runtime 2.3 for Symbian. The standalone package includes an Eclipse-based viewer that provides you with a search function. Extract the zip file to any folder on your computer, and click eclipse.exe to access the library.

Web Developer's Library (online)

This version of the Web Developer’s Library (WDL) is compatible with Nokia's Web Browser 8.5 for MeeGo 1.2 Harmattan on the Nokia N9, Web Browser for Symbian 7.3, 7.4, 8.2, 8.3.1, and the Nokia Browser for Series 40. It also supports S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 2, S60 5th Edition, and Web Browser 7.2. This version of the WDL adds information about Symbian Browser 8.3.1 and also some information about Windows Phone browsers.
