What's new in the WDL October 2011 update?
Series 40 web apps version 1.5 features are added to the version 1.0 documentation topic set. For details see What's new in Series 40 web app versions.
For Nokia Browser 8.5 a large new documentation topic set is added. This browser runs on the Linux-based MeeGo 1.2 Harmattan OS. For more details see the linked topic.
Symbian Browser 7.4 is added. This browser is the same as 7.3 except for a few UI changes and bug fixes. For more information see Browser version-specific information.
Symbian Web Runtime (WRT) 7.4 is added. This WRT version is available only as part of Symbian Browser 7.4 and is the same as Symbian WRT 7.3 except for bug fixes. For more information see Symbian Web Runtime and Symbian Web Runtime versions and device support.
Symbian Belle OS is added. This library now mentions this OS where appropriate but provides no details on the OS itself. For more information on Symbian Belle and compatible smartphones, see the dedicated Symbian Belle web site and the Nokia Developer News Symbian Belle article.
The Ovi Browser name is changed to Nokia Browser for Series 40.
The Ovi Store name is changed to Nokia Store.
