Flash is used to create interactive multimedia content in the form of SWF files which can played on the Adobe Flash Player. Flash Lite is a lightweight subset of the Flash Player that is designed for use on a mobile device. Flash Lite is optimized for devices with limited resources, such as smaller screens and limited processing power.

Most Nokia devices support plug-in based audio and video, these plug-ins play any audio or video format supported by the device and support for specific codecs will vary. Plug-in content is activated through the use of the standard HTML <object> and <embed> elements. Media playback and volume controls are available.

Scalable Vector Graphics-Tiny (SVG-T) is the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) optimization for mobile devices of the Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) plug-in. The S60 platform supports SVG-T in order to provide animated, interactive graphics that can be zoomed to various resolutions on a mobile device. SVG-T is designed to display vector graphics on low memory, low CPU power, limited-display devices such as mobile phones. Images, lines, curves, polygons, and paths are included in SVG-T.
