Nokia Web Tools: Build apps for the next billion

Nokia Web Tools provide developers with a design and development toolkit, which makes it easy to take a Series 40 web app or Symbian WRT widget from planning to Ovi Store submission. With Web Developer Environment you can edit, package, and deploy web apps easily, while referring to the one-stop shop for web apps information and additional tools: Web Developer Channel. Then use Web App Simulator to simplify testing by running web apps on a computer.

Java™ technology: Address the mass market with ease

The Nokia SDK for the Java™ language integrates directly into NetBeans or Eclipse, enabling you to quickly extend your Java language development onto mobile phones. Each SDK provides the Java APIs supported by an edition or feature pack of the S60 platform or Series 40 platform. Once you have built your application, the emulator provided in each SDK enables you to test your application on a Microsoft Windows PC.

Nokia SDK 1.0 for Java

A beta version of the Nokia SDK 1.0 for Java is available. This SDK currently supports Series 40 6th Edition, Feature Pack 1 applications development. In the future this tool will provide a one-stop solution for developing Java applications on all Nokia platforms.
