Qt Quick – Introduction

In this module you will learn how to use Qt Quick to create graphical user interfaces.

Qt Quick

Qt Quick (Qt User Interface Creation Kit) is a set of high level technologies that makes UI designing and development much quicker and easier. Qt Quick allows UI designers with no C++ skills to work together with developers. Qt Quick consists of the following parts:

• QML (Qt Meta-Object Language): A JavaScript-like declarative language for describing graphical user interfaces and their behaviour
• Qt Declarative: A Qt module for building and running declarative UIs and for integrating QML with Qt/C++
• Qt Creator integration: Qt Quick Designer, QML syntax highlighting, and project templates.
