The Ethernet Plug-in for Series 60 Platform 2.0 SDKs establishes a channel for sending and receiving raw packets between the Symbian OS emulator and the Internet via an Ethernet card. The card must comply with the IEEE 802.3 specification. This product enables the creating, running, and debugging of network-aware C applications. All the services of the Symbian OS TCP/IP stack are available to applications, and network packages are routed from applications to the Internet and returning packages back to the application. Supported products are: Series 60 2.0 SDK for Symbian OS, Series 60 SDK 2.0 for Symbian OS Supporting CodeWarrior for Symbian OS, Series 60 SDK 2.1 Beta for Symbian OS, and Series 60 SDK 2.1 Beta for Symbian OS Supporting CodeWarrior.
