The Game Connect Asia Pacific (GCAP) 2012 conference, together with the Game Masters exhibition at the Australian Centre for the Moving Image, is shaping up to be a landmark event for Australia’s games-development industry. With ‘Inspire’ as its theme, GCAP 2012 will feature keynotes by industry participants who have changed the way games developers think and create content. Conference sessions are designed to give attendees ample time to learn about best practices in the modern games industry. Practical workshops and tutorials will examine tools and technologies. Nokia’s Vaughan Knight will co-present a session on ‘The New Existing Market — What Windows 8 Means for Games’.
