Description
Series 40 On-Device Debugger is a tool that enables Java applications to be debugged while running on many of the latest Series 40 devices. This is the first beta release of the tool and you are recommended to read the release note and visit the discussion forum thread to check for known issues and workarounds.
Update
A new download of the beta package is available, with a newly signed phone client. This version has been signed with a certificate that has a long validity period. Once installed on your target phones, issues with the phone client reporting an expired certificate will be resolved.
Supported IDEs
Series 40 On-Device Debugger is designed to work with the Eclipse Pulsar and NetBeans IDEs. In addition, it may be possible to use the remote attach capabilities of other IDEs, such as IntellJ IDEA, to utilise the debugger.
