Description
Series 40 On-Device Debugger is a tool that enables Java applications to be debugged while running on many of the latest Series 40 devices. This is the first beta release of the tool and you are recommended to read the release note and visit the discussion forum thread to check for known issues and workarounds.

Update
A new download of the beta package is available, with support for Series 40 Developer Platform 2.0 phones.

Supported IDEs
Series 40 On-Device Debugger is designed to work with the Eclipse Pulsar and NetBeans IDEs. In addition, it may be possible to use the remote attach capabilities of other IDEs, such as IntellJ IDEA, to utilise the debugger.

Supported devices
Series 40 On-Device Debugger is supported on all Series 40 6th Edition or later phones.

A dedicated discussion thread is available in the Mobile Java Tools and SDKs discussion forum for reporting issues and providing feedback. Details of known issues and workarounds will also be reported here.
