The library version 1.10 is compatible with Web Runtime 7.2 and the Web Browser for Symbian 7.2. It also supports S60 3rd Edition, S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 2, S60 5th Edition versions of Browser and WRT, and WRT and Web Browser 7.1. New in version 1.10 are topics supporting Nokia Symbian^3 devices such as: Home screen widgets in Nokia Symbian^3 devices, Landscape mode in Nokia Symbian^3 devices; topic supporting Web Browser 7.2 for Symbian: Browser 7.2 features; a Symbian Web Runtime supported APIs table; Detecting network availability in Web applications, and updates to the Calendar, Contacts, Communication Logs, Landmarks, Location, Media Management, Sensors, and System Information APIs. The Web Developer’s Library (WDL) is restructured for WDL 1.10 to incorporate Design and User Experience material that was formerly in the Design and User Experience Library (DUEL): Scrolling, Font support, HTML and CSS support, Using animations and transitions, Interaction and user experience design checklist, Packaging, installing, and distributing your widget, Designing a sample widget. New design-related topics are Tools and templates and Usability guidelines. Extract the .zip file to any folder on your computer and click eclipse.exe to access the library.
