Description
Nokia AnalyzeTool provides features that enable the detection of memory leaks and other memory issues in Symbian C++ and Qt software for Symbian phones. The tool is available for use in SDK emulators or on Symbian phones.

For Carbide.c++ users, the AnalyzeTool extension 1.15.2 is available through the Carbide.c++ Portal. This version fixes a problem where AnalyzeTool running against the Belle SDK builds with the RVCT compiler even though the GCCE target is selected.
Known issues
Function profiling doesn't work with the Belle SDK GCCE compiler, please refer to the release notes for details of a fix.
Installation
Nokia AnalyzeTool is delivered in a zip archive that is extracted into the root folder of the supported S60 or Symbian SDK. A phone client, available in the root folder of the supported SDK, is then installed onto any compatible phone to be used for testing.
Use
Nokia AnalyzeTool is used by compiling it with the software to be tested, executing this software to gather data, and examining the collected data on a PC.
