Description
Nokia AnalyzeTool provides features that enable the detection of memory leaks and other memory issues in Symbian C++ and Qt software for Symbian phones. The tool is available for use in SDK emulators or on Symbian phones.

News
Release 1.15.1 of the tool is available. This release adds exit code reporting, handle leaks detection and reporting, leak priority reporting (to assist in filtering out false Qt leaks), and subtest and allocation hooks APIs.

Installation
Nokia AnalyzeTool is delivered in a zip archive that is extracted into the root folder of the supported S60 or Symbian SDK. A phone client, available in the root folder of the supported SDK, is then installed onto any compatible phone to be used for testing.

Use
Nokia AnalyzeTool is used by compiling it with the software to be tested, executing this software to gather data, and examining the collected data on a PC.

Nokia AnalyzeTool is available in versions for:

• Symbian Belle.
• Symbian^3 and Symbian Anna.
• S60 5th Edition.
• S60 3rd Edition, Feature Pack2.
• S60 3rd Edition, Feature Pack 1.

Carbide.c++ support
Nokia AnalyzeTool is available as a Carbide.c++ extension from the Carbide.c++ portal.
